Junction City has just finished their third full length album, Beautiful Day, which will be officially released to the public in early 2018. This Album was recorded in both Austin, TX and Nashville, TN. Beautiful Day was mixed by Latin Grammy Awards Nominee, Brazilian Eber Pinheiro, who now resides in Manhattan, NY. The new album also features one of Brazil's top guitar players and Junction City's newest band member, Sergio Yazbek of Sao Paulo.


Interesting Trivia:

Junction City got it's start as a "teacher's band" in Aberdeen, WA (Home of Kurt Cobain/Nirvana) and used to rehearse and write songs in the same HS Art Classroom where Kurt honed in his artistic talents. 

Junction City now resides in Austin, TX.

Junction City's core is made up of three family members.

The "Austin Guitar House" is Junction City's official sponsor. 

Junction City once was the House Band for a semi-professional football team, The Seattle Timberwolves.. Their job was to pump up the crowd at the 7,000 seat Showare Arena.

The band has opened for the likes of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Black Crowes, as well as playing at the largest outdoor venue in the USA (Gorge in George, WA). They have headlined fairs and festivals and have been featured artists on radio stations.
